Non-Binary (He/Him, Any)

Artificial Human

Synopsis.

Created by the Black Order as part of the Second Exorcist program, Alma Karma was an artificial human. The project aimed to create new Exorcists artificially to circumvent the lengthy process of finding people who were compatible with Innocence. During the program, Alma met Kanda Yu, a fellow test subject, and tried to befriend him. Initially, Kanda thought he was creepy, but the pair eventually forged a bond over their shared circumstances.

Things all came crashing down when Alma overheard the scientists discussing Kanda's failure and plans to terminate him. In the process of helping Kanda escape, Alma learned the truth of his creation and suffered a mental breakdown. He went on a rampage through the facility until he was killed.

Spoiler Warning
However, his body wasn't truly dead, due to his regenerative powers. Through continued experimentation, the Order infused his body with an Akuma nucleus and used it to create the Third Exorcist project. The Millenium Earl used this to his advantage by "reviving" Alma as an Akuma. Following his Akumatization, Alma was killed and his body was given a proper burial by Kanda.

Notes.

  • I headcanon Alma as non-binary. While he is physically male and comfortable presenting as masc, the Exorcist used to make him was a woman. I just think it's neat if that's lead to him having a looser relationship with gender.

Hooks.

  • Former cinnamon roll, now burnt. Help him learn to smile again.
  • Fellow science experiments who can relate to him.
  • Grew up in a lab, and never left so there's a lot of things he's never experienced/doesn't know about.
  • Really just want to play him more, so if anything about him interests you let me know and I'll come up with something. I'm ready and willing to come up with an excuse for him to interact with anyone and everyone.

Verses.

Default - With how little time he spends alive in canon, Alma's default verse will be canon divergent and be treated as if he didn't die in his final fight.

No other specific verses at the moment, but I'm happy to do crossovers and figure out how to fit him into other universes! He's better suited for sci-fi or fantasy universes, but I'll probably come up with a more modern verse eventually.
